is iComTrader?
iComTrader is a global trading company with offices and Agents in many strategic locations around the world. Our services include export promotion, online trading, sourcing and product procurement, trade finance, logistics management, and consulting services. We are active in global markets and industries that include raw materials, commodities, food and wine products, textiles and textile raw materials, chemicals, petrochemicals, minerals, metals, agricultural products, fertilizers, forestry, bio-energy, and more. iComTrader is an international trading company. We function as intermediaries and facilitators in import/export, by bringing buyers and sellers together. Our traditional trading house format, combined with our online trading venue, gives our members the opportunity to expand their business to new markets with less risk, since all members are verified by Agents within their geographical areas. This creates a safer environment in which our members can do business, and is very different from the other web portals and "b2b" sites currently online. Our home office is in New York, and we have Agents "on the ground" in over 35 countries, to assist our members in their local languages. Can I speak with an Agent in my area? Yes! Please visit our Global Contacts Page, to locate the Agent nearest you, or contact sales@icomtrader.com to be put in touch with the Agent who is responsible for your geographical area. How does iComTrader get paid? With regard to import-export trading, both through our online portal and through offline trading, iComTrader is paid a commission by the seller. For additional services that we may provide to our members, whether buyers or sellers, our fee is negotiated on a project-by-project basis. What is iComTrader's commission percentage? A standard commission has been established, for our trade portal. Please visit www.iComTrader.com or contact your nearest iComTrader Agent, for more information. Commission percentages may be negotiated in sectors where our basic commission structure is not appropriate. All exceptions to the basic commission structure must be approved by the home office in New York. What services can iComTrader offer my company? Through the iComTrader Consulting Division, our members have access to strategic partners, who can offer a wide variety of services, such as trade finance, logistics management, market entry studies, professional translations, representation at trade shows, and various consulting services.
