Here are instructions for creating your free account at
iComTrader:
1) Go to www.iComTrader.com
and click on "Register" (in the top menu bar, 2nd item from the right
side).
2) If "Register" does not appear, you are already logged in. (To create
another account, log out, then click "Register" and follow instructions
below).
3) Fill out the information on the form. The information is only for
iComTrader International, and Agents that are required to verify your
initial sign up onto the site. This information will not be shown to
other site members, except for your location (city) and your login id.
- "Requested Login ID" - this will be part of your
web page address on iComTrader - it will also show as the "user" when
you post listings and when you communicate with other users on the
site. I recommend that you use only lower case letters, with no spaces.
I suggest you use your name (such as: marcycoate) or your company name
(such as: abctrading).
- "Corporation Name" - use this only if you have a
company.
- "DBA Name" - if you don't know what this is,
then leave it blank, because it does not apply to you.
- "Country Tax ID" - this is required only if you
live in the USA, or your company is registered in the USA, or your bank
account is in the USA.
- "Website Address" - if you have a web site for
your business you can list it here.
- "Address 1" - the first line of your address.
- "Address 2" - the second line of your address
(if needed).
- "City" - please insert your city or town.
- "State" - if you live in the USA or you are a US
citizen abroad with FPO or AE, please choose from the drop-down list.
- "Province" - if you do not live in the USA and
there is a
Province associated with your address, please type it in here. YOU MUST
PUT SOMETHING IN "State" OR "Province". If you do not have either of
these, then type "N/A" (not applicable) in the "Province" field.
- "Zip/Post" - the numeric zip code or postal code
that is used in your country, for your particular address.
- "Address 1" - please choose your country from
the drop-down box. If your country is not listed, you can type it in
where it says "Other Country".
- "First Name" - your given name.
- "Last Name" - your surname.
- "Email Address" - your email address (your
domain name
address, or Gmail is preferred. Please don't use Yahoo or Hotmail, as
you will have difficulties with mail delivery, from our server).
- "Daytime Phone" - a phone number where you can
be reached during business hours. This number will only be used in case
we need to confirm your account, or if there is an emergency question
regarding your account or your listings on the iComTrader site.
- "Cell Phone" - if you have a mobile number you
can list it here.
- "Fax Number" - if you have a fax number you can
list it here.
- "Referrer ID" - if you were referred by someone
please put their name or Login ID here.
Type in the security code and click the box where it says "I agree to
the terms and conditions of iComTrader". To read the terms and
conditions click on the link to the right of that.
Click on "Complete Registration".
If there is an error or something that is not filled in, you will get a
message saying what is wrong. Be sure to go back and verify that
nothing else is missing, if that happens, because certain fields will
not remember what information was there. Check everything twice, and
click "Complete Registration".
